Survey: Town Seeks Resident Input for Community Gathering Place

The Town of Sahuarita is seeking input from residents on a “Town Square” that will establish a central gathering place for all residents and visitors of Sahuarita.  The Town is continuing to implement recommendations from the Branding Initiative completed in 2016.

As part of the Branding Initiative, the action plan recommended a visioning process for a Town Center and Plaza to become a community gathering place and enhance civic and economic development opportunities.
“Creating a Sahuarita Square or a Town Center will establish a central gathering place for residents and visitors to experience culture and commerce in a pedestrian-friendly environment,” said Economic Development Manager, Victor Gonzalez.

Town Manager, Kelly Udall, noted that council identified this need for a Town square through previous surveys. Further input from residents will help establish more specific priorities for the Town Center based on community needs and suggestions. To access the survey, please click here. The survey will close on June 2.
