Enter your Sahuarita business in EDGE for a chance to win $4000

Small businesses in Sahuarita and Green Valley will get a chance to learn how to improve and grow—and win $4,000—in the town’s second annual Energize, Develop, Grow, Excel (EDGE) Competition. Applications are due by May 4.

Interested businesses owners in the Sahuarita and Green Valley area should contact Michael Jansen at mjansen@sahuaritaaz.gov or 520-822-8819. For more details or to apply, please visit www.sahuarita.gov/EDGE

Over the course of several months, the finalists selected from applications will participate in 23 required hours of free workshops: Profit Mastering, Access to Capital, and Franklin Covey (Strategic Planning). These classes will be facilitated by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Once the required workshops are completed, finalists will pitch their business growth ideas to a panel of judges—“Shark Tank” style—at the BizEDGE Competition in November for the chance to win $4,000.

The 2018 EDGE Competition was made possible by the Freeport-McMoran and sponsored by Freeport-McMoran, the Small Business Development Center at Pima Community College, the Town of Sahuarita, the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, and Rancho Sahuarita.
