Voter Information - 2018
The Town of Sahuarita will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, for the purpose of electing three Council Members. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, to fill any Council Member seats that remain unfilled after the Primary Election. To be elected at the Primary Election, a candidate must receive a majority as defined by statute of all the votes cast for Council Member.
The primary and general elections will be consolidated with the elections conducted by Pima County.
Polling Place Elections
These elections will be conducted as polling place elections. Voters may vote at their designated polling place on Election Day; vote early in person; request an early mail ballot; or request to be placed on the Permanent Early Voter List (PEVL) to receive mail ballots for all elections. Voters who are not affiliated with a political party and who are on the PEVL will not automatically receive a ballot for the Town of Sahuarita, August 28, 2018 Primary Election. Voters who are not affiliated with a political party have the option of requesting a political party ballot of their choice or local ballot listing only the candidates for Sahuarita Town Council. Requesting a political party ballot for the Primary election will not change a voter's party affiliation.
Please see the Pima County Recorder's Office online or by contact them by phone at (520)742.4330 for voter registration information and early ballot requests.
