History and Heritage

How did Sahuarita develop? What drew people to this place? The Town incorporated in 1994, but do you know about the historical influences dating back hundreds of years? One of our goals is to present Sahuarita history in a unique manner. To do so, we will be working with a consultant this year to research, interpret, and provide compelling portrayal of Sahuarita history on our webpage.
