Remember if you live in Sahuarita you need to license your dog with the Town.


Town residents must license their dogs online or by mail through PetData, the licensing service provider the Town has contracted with for dog licensing services. Assistance is available at Anamax Recreation Center.

What You Need to License Your Dog:

  • Current rabies vaccination certificate
  • Proof of spay/neuter, either a veterinarian signed statement or paid invoice for services
  • Proof of owner age to receive Senior 65+ discount
  • Paperwork will not be returned, please retain copies for your records

License Online:

  1. Visit
  2. Enter your zip code under "License Now"
  3. Go to the "Customer Service Assistant" page
  4. Under License Now, next to online click "Go"
  5. Under Instructions to License online: "Click here to begin" complete application
  6. Pay with credit card
  7. Scan and upload required documents or submit later by fax (214-821-3106), email ( or mail

License by Mail:

  1. Obtain paper application from or Anamax Recreation Center, 17501 S. Camino de las Quintas
  2. Complete the application and select the correct license fee(s)
  3. Make copies of required documents to include with your application
  4. Make check or money order payable to "Sahuarita Dog Licensing"
  5. Mail application, payment and document copies to Sahuarita Dog Licensing, c/o Pet Data, PO Box 141929, Irving, TX 75014-1929

What You Need to Know:

  • Expect to receive dog tag by mail 2 - 3 weeks after required paperwork and payment are received
  • Dogs over 3 months of age are required to be licensed in the Town of Sahuarita
  • License must be renewed annually, and is not valid beyond the expiration date of the rabies vaccination
