The Town of Sahuarita's development services departments encourage applicants for larger projects, such as plats, development plans, rezonings, and tenant improvements, to schedule a pre-application meeting. These meetings were formerly referred to as "Development Review Committee" or DRC meetings. There is no charge for these meetings, and representatives from Planning & Zoning, Building Safety, and Public Works attend to provide input on your proposal. As needed, other departments may also be represented.
Pre-application meetings are held each Tuesday at 9am, and are scheduled on a first-come-first served basis. Materials are typically required by Thursday to schedule for the following Tuesday.
To schedule a pre-application meeting, complete the Pre-Application Meeting Request Form and email it to sahuaritaplanning@sahuaritaaz.gov. You will be contacted to confirm your meeting date. A suggested checklist of materials will help you to provide the information that will be most useful to staff.
