A new educational video about Proposition 403 was presented at Sahuarita's Town Council meeting on Monday evening. The four-minute video aims to provide information to assist voters in making informed decisions, offering a high-level overview of Proposition 403, explaining its key focuses and potential impact on local residents. Proposition 403 includes seven recreational, police/public safety, and infrastructure projects for Sahuarita.
“Proposition 403 is designed to help the Town continue to manage growth in a fiscally responsible way. By starting to build projects now, it is intended to help avoid future rising construction costs,” the video stated.

Proposition 403 is a $66 million general obligation bond that will appear on the November 2024 General Election ballot for voter approval.
