In October of 2024, Sahuarita Police officers began a narcotics investigation due to a tip from a concerned citizen. The investigation, which focused on the distribution of narcotics, led to a search warrant being served on December 27, 2024, at a residence in the 900 block of W. Calle Falerno.
As a result of this investigation, multiple items of evidence were seized during the search warrant. 18-year-old Tristan Gutierrez, a Sahuarita resident, was arrested and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, and transportation of a narcotic drug for sale.
This case is a clear demonstration of the power of community involvement. Your cooperation and vigilance are not just appreciated, but also necessary in ensuring Sahuarita's safety. Together, we can continue to keep Sahuarita a safe place to live, work, and play.
