Residents and commuters, please be advised of upcoming work on Duval Mine Road that may cause brief traffic impacts.

Starting Monday, June 30, contractors will begin installing a new sewer line for the U-Haul site near the intersection of Duval Mine Road and Alpha Avenue. This project requires trenching into the roadway and installing a new manhole over the existing sewer line.

To safely complete this work, a single lane of Duval Mine Road will be closed 24 hours a day for approximately one week. The trench will be securely covered with plating after work hours to help minimize disruption.

Traffic control will be in place, managed by Trafficade Service, LLC (AWP Safety), to ensure proper signage and maintain safe conditions for drivers.

The Town anticipates only minor traffic impacts during this time. Public Works staff will be actively monitoring the project to ensure safety and timely completion of this essential infrastructure improvement.
