Police Report Records
Police reports are typically completed by officers within seven (7) business days from the reported date, however, requests for police report records are processed in the order they are received. Processing times may vary depending on the number of requests received, staffing levels, and other factors related to follow-up and investigations. Please call 520-344-7000 to discuss processing times for your specific request(s) for records.

Police Reports:
- Reports disseminated via email are free of charge.
- Printed copies of reports cost $5.00 for 25 pages. Reports over 25 pages will cost an additional .25 cents per page.
Body Camera Recordings
- $46 per hour of video (body camera recordings are disseminated in digital format to a requestor's email via a download link from Evidence.com)
911 Recordings & Accident Photos
- $46 per hour of audio, prorated in 10-minute increments (911 recordings & accident photos are disseminated in digital format to a requestor's email via a download link from Evidence.com)
Clearance Letter
- Employers or other organizations sometimes request a "Clearance Letter" from a local law enforcement agency. The SPD can issue a clearance letter that confirms that there have been no local SPD arrests for a particular person who is requesting a clearance letter.

Request a Police Report Record:
Please submit your public record request using one of the following methods (Government Requests, see options under "Government Agencies" heading):
Email: Fill out a Public Records Request form and email it to spdrecords@sahuaritaaz.gov . Requests are processed in the order they are received.

In-Person: You may visit the police department during business hours to submit your request in-person.

Accident Report Requests:
Accident reports can be accessed and printed immediately from our online system at buycrash.com or crashdocs.org. Accident reports are typically available online seven (7) business days from the date of the accident. Cases requiring additional investigation will not be available within seven days. Accident cases involving criminal charges are not available online and must be requested using one of the methods listed under the "Request a Police Report Record" heading.
GOVERNMENT AGENCIES:
Government agencies should submit their records requests to spdrecords@sahuaritaaz.gov from a government email account, in person, or by fax (877)682-0153 (include government letterhead and release form).
