The Town of Sahuarita prides itself on providing excellent customer service and seamless development processes. Partners in Development is a unique program spearheaded by Sahuarita's Planning & Building and Public Works Departments and is one of the ways that Sahuarita demonstrates its commitment to customer service. Under the Partners in Development program, Sahuarita offers:
- No-fee Development Review Committee (pre-application) meetings. Staff representing each facet of the development review process attend these meetings to ensure that upcoming development projects receive input from as many angles as possible. Meeting notes are taken and provided to attendees.
- Project-Specific Booklet. When warranted, a project-specific booklet is prepared for the development team containing the applicable checklists, processes, and other useful information.
- Project Partner. A Project Partner is assigned to the project to act as a single point of contact for the development team and to help prevent and resolve any issues that may arise. The Project Partner will be from Planning & Zoning, Building Safety, or Public Works and will follow the project from pre-submittal to business opening.
