2026 Candidate Elections
The Town of Sahuarita will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, for the purpose of electing three (3) Council Members to serve 4-year terms. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to fill any Council Member seats that remain unfilled after the Primary Election. To be elected at the Primary Election, a candidate must receive a majority, as defined by law, of all the votes cast for Council Member.
Hybrid Elections
These elections will be conducted as hybrid elections. Voters may vote at any Vote Center on Election Day; vote early in person; request a ballot-by-mail, or request to be placed on the Active Early Voter List (AEVL) to receive mail ballots for all elections.
Active Early Voter List (AEVL)
Voters who are not registered as a member of one of the recognized political parties participating in the primary election, and who are on the AEVL, will not automatically receive a ballot for the Town of Sahuarita, July 21, 2026 Primary Election. Voters who are not affiliated with a recognized political party may request a political party ballot of their choice or a local ballot listing only the candidates for the Sahuarita Town Council. Requesting a political party ballot for the Primary election will not change a voter’s party affiliation.

Election Results
The election's unofficial results will be posted beginning at approximately 8 PM on election night and will continue until all ballots are tabulated.
