[SAHUARITA, AZ – October 11, 2024] – On October 11, 2024, at approximately 06:33 AM, Sahuarita Police officers and detectives served a search warrant at a residence located in the 16000 block of S. Paseo Los Codos in reference to an ongoing burglary investigation that began in November of 2023. This investigation stemmed from a series of thefts from several homes that were under construction within the Town of Sahuarita.
The suspects have been identified as 28-year-old Sahuarita resident Armando Lopez and 28-year-old Sahuarita resident Rainer Molina.
Mr. Lopez was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for four counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of first-degree criminal trespassing, four counts of theft, and one count of conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary.
Mr. Rainer was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree criminal trespassing, two counts of theft, and one count of facilitation to commit second-degree burglary.
