On May 17, 2024, at approximately 6:17 PM, Officers of the Sahuarita Police Department responded to the 300 block of E Calle Minerva after receiving a report of a family member found deceased in the home.
SPD and the Green Valley Fire District arrived on the scene and observed that the victim had suffered obvious signs of trauma. Detectives and Crime Scene specialists were called out to investigate the incident and the scene is currently being processed for evidence.
At this time, there is no known threat to the public. Additional information, including the identity of the deceased, will be released at a later time. The public may see a large presence in the area while this incident is being investigated.
