 Jury Service:
The right of a trial by jury is the privilege of every person in the United States. This right is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Arizona Constitution, which provides, "the right of a trial by jury shall remain inviolate".

FAILURE TO APPEAR AS DIRECTED MAY SUBJECT YOU TO PENALTIES PROVIDED BY LAW.

The Sahuarita Municipal Court is located at 360 W. Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, Az. 85629. Located in the Town Hall Municipality. The Courthouse is the only building to the North of the Municipality. Parking is available to the West and East side of the building.

Length of Service

Your service is required as a prospective juror for one trial. Generally, the trial will last one to two days. Please be prepared to remain at the Courthouse the full day. If sworn as a trial juror, your jury service will continue until the trial is completed.

Compensation

If you are not sworn in as a trial juror, you will be compensated only for the mileage rate allowed by law for one day. If you are selected to hear the trial, you will receive $25.00 per day of service plus the mileage rate allowed by law per day. Employers are not required by law to pay employees their regular salary wage when on jury service. Please check your employer's policy. If you or your employer has questions about our jury service, please contact the Court.

Please read the Juror Affidavit Questionnaire for acceptable reasons for disqualification from jury service. Check all that apply and attach any required documentation. Other requests to be excused not listed in the Juror Affidavit Questionnaire should be attached to and returned with your completed Juror Affidavit Questionnaire.
